Nadia Santos was born in Portugal. 


Her academic background includes a degree in Theater Studies and Acting at the Performing Arts School, in Porto, (during which she attended the Erasmus Program in England) and a Master’s degree in Communications -TV and Film in Lisbon. 

Her artistic  training includes the Clown Course at École Philippe Gaulier in Paris, the Thierry Salmon Project’s International Itinerant Course of Theatre Improvement in France, Italy and Portugal, and 2 years in New York City at the Michael Howard Studios in the One and Second year Conservatories .

She has worked for the National Theatre in Porto and Lisbon, and for the Teatro Aberto and Companhia de Teatro do Chapitô companies in Lisbon with several directors, such as José Wallenstein, José Carlos Garcia, Bruno Bravo, João Lourenço, Helena Pimenta, Filipe Crawford and in Italy with actor/director Carlo Cecchi.

She works regularly as an assistant director for the theater, and recently, started to work as a director herself.
She often works on television series, and film.
She’s a certified Pilates instructor, and develops small projects for video (directing end editing) and photography.

She's been in love with dancing, traveling, laughing, food and Portuguese wine for a long time…
